Taylor's Classic Grill Thermometer is used to determine when grill surface has reached proper searing temperature for fish or steaks. The grill thermometer measures temperatures from 100°F to 600°F. To ensure food is being cooked thoroughly to a safe temperature, use a meat or other type of food thermometer.
The thermometer can be secured directly to the grill grates because of the magnet on the back of it. It includes a small spring coil on the back for lifting the thermometer with a spatula. To remove the grill thermometer from the grill surface, simply use a pair of tongs, spatula or protected gloves.
The grill thermometer has a large 2" dial face with red pointer and dial graphics to let you know the recommended temperatures for grilling and searing. The grill thermometer is constructed of stainless steel.
