The easy-to-read digital display dually functions as a thermometer and 24 hour timer with an angled design for optimal viewing on your countertop and stainless steel housing for extra durability. Simply insert the Thermometer's probe into the meat and run the narrow cable through your oven door to easily monitor roasting temperatures.
The OXO thermometer provides both USDA and chef-recommended settings for all types of meat, poultry and fish, and will signal when the desired temperature is reached. So happy to have found this thermometer. Review by Sueannie
I have bought every kind of thermometer there is to buy. This one is the BEST and most ACCURATE I have ever had. I will never use another brand again. I will give as gifts to my family and friends that are avid cooks as well. (Posted on 2/19/2012)
Great Gift! Review by Chef Debbie
I bought this as a hostess present for my mom at Thanksgiving. Boy, was it a help! You simply set the temp you want and walk away- it beeps to let you know when it's at the temp you want. I will say, make sure that you push the line connector into the digital readout all the way, otherwise it won't show you the true temp. It is on the high end of thermometers, but I think it's worth it. There are so many features, and the screen is large enough my mom can use it without having to find her glasses first! It's definitely going to be used regularly. (Posted on 1/18/2010)
