The sturdy sled base is built to withstand the distribution of weight at two points and is carefully constructed to ensure that your flooring will be preserved. This flexibility safely provides comfort and stability when sitting straight or leaning back in the chair...perfect for a studying, reading, or just relaxing.

Features 100% European beech plywood with uniform layers inside and out. Sturdy metal to metal hardware connectors and reinforcing high solids glue provide outstanding strength and support. Legs, back, and seat supports made of 22 plys to a finished thickness of 1-3/16". Leg rail made of 21 plys to a finished thickness of 15/16". Upholstered seat panel and chair back made of 8 plys with a finished thickness of 7/16". Front seat edge is rounded for comfort. Relaxing cushion foam seat padding is 1-1/8" thick on seat and 3/4" thick on back. Thorough 8-Step finishing process includes 2 careful sanding treatments, a sprayed stain application to all sides of the wood components, and separate coats of a nitrocellulose sealer and a nitrocellulose lacquer to ensure integrity and durability in any commercial environment.
