The thermometer can switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius, with ranges from -40°F to 450°F or -40°C to 230°C. It also features hold and maximum temperature, and an auto-shut off to conserve battery life.

The anti-microbial plastic storage case inhibits growth of pathogens. You won't have to worry about this 1.5v LR44 battery running out quickly because of the thermometer's auto shut-off feature for long lasting battery life.
