A consumer preference, soft and chewable nugget ice is versatile and slow-melting, cooling drinks rapidly without wasteful foaming and keeping them cool longer, while maintaining their flavor. Nugget ice consists of hard, cylindrical, randomly-sized bits of ice that are actually compacted flake ice. These hard bits of ice remain free-flowing at all times, and make iced displays look crisper and stay fresh longer. Nugget ice is also preferred for patient care because it doesn't present the choking risk of cubed ice, and because nugget ice melts slowly and doesn't clump, ice bags remain functional and moldable for a very long time. This high production air-cooled nugget ice maker can satisfy any foodservice or institutional needs. Features the AutoSentry Monitoring System, which constantly checks the workload on the gearbox, shutting down the system before a problem develops, thereby preventing costly repairs. An electrical conductivity water sensor eliminates low or no water failures and cannot be affected by adverse water conditions. Plastic drain pan with larger outlet provides a greater ability to quickly channel water away, preventing particulate build-up and rust. Rust and restriction-free drain system features one-piece plastic drain tubes with larger inner diameter for obstruction-free water flow. Durable, high grade stainless steel construction with massive, self-aligning spherical roller bearings, a patented double-flight auger that evenly distributes the load, and a heavy-duty direct drive gearbox for high reliability and long life. Large capacity stainless steel finished bin ensures ample ice reserve for your busiest periods. Polyethylene bin interior is sanitary and easy to clean, while also resisting scratches and scuffs from ice scoops. Non-CFC polyurethane foam insulation is forced between the wall and liner under heat and pressure to form a perfect wall-to-wall bond, preserving ice supply for long periods. Includes four 6" enamel legs with adjustable leveling.

Produces 1080 lbs. of ice per 24 hour cycle at 70°F air and 50°F water, or 780 lbs. of ice per 24 hour cycle at 90°F air and 70°F water. Operating requirements: Minimum 50°F air, 40°F water, 20 PSIG water pressure, -5% voltage; Maximum 100°F air, 100°F water, 120 PSIG water pressure, +10% voltage. Power consumption: 3.94 KWH/100 lbs. at 90°F air, 70°F water. Potable water usage: 12 gallons/100 lbs. at 90°F air, 70°F water. Factory warranty: 3 years parts and labor on all components, 5 years parts on compressor.
