Replacement high efficiency extruded carbon filter for the second stage of the 20" Twin Water Filter System. The second stage filter includes an extruded carbon block filter to control chlorine, taste, and odor. This second stage filter also utilizes Siliphos scale inhibitor, a unique blend of polyphosphate and sodium silicate, to remove dirt, rust, silt, and scale that can clog solenoids and orifices. Polyphosphates bind with hard minerals, preventing them from attaching to metal surfaces, and sodium silicates provide a microscopic coating on metal surfaces, protecting them from scale and corrosion
