The exclusive tilting, removable carriage system allows for ease of cleaning during busy periods, reducing labor and improving sanitation. Stainless steel carriage and knife cover construction are corrosion and impact resistant, and provide maximum sanitation with minimum cleanup time. Thin super alloy edged CleanCut^TM knife improves yield and lasts longer than traditional slicing knives. Single action Borazon stone sharpener sharpens and hones in just five seconds, and is conveniently top-mounted for easy accessibility. Poly V-Belt drive system provides quieter performance and requires less service time and parts for repairs. One piece burnished aluminum base is easy to clean and eliminates crevices and bolt holes where bacteria could grow. Double-action indexing cam provides precise control for shaving, chipping, and thin slicing, as well as opening the gauge plate quickly for thicker consistent slicing. Permanently mounted ring guard protects knife during operation and cleaning. Heavy 12 gauge stainless steel top cover with integrated product deflector maintains its shape to ensure a consistent fit, and the spring loaded knob allows quick removal for easy cleanup. Lift lever props the machine for easy cleaning underneath the slicer.

Features Microban® antimicrobial product protection built into the external plastic components to inhibit the growth of bacteria, mold, mildew, and fungi, keeping the slicer "cleaner between cleanings". The Microban® additive is designed to last the life of the product and works continuously to maintain a lower level of odor and stain causing microorganisms. Two-speed automatic carriage has front mounted controls, and reaches 36 strokes per minute on low speed, and 52 strokes per minute on high. Carriage has a 12-1/2" manual travel, and will take food up to 12" in width or 7-1/2" in diameter. Knife runs at 400 RPM for optimal performance. Gauge plate is a heavy aluminum casting with ribbed laminated stainless steel face for smooth feeding, and is adjustable to cut any thickness of slice up to 1". 1/2 hp motor has permanently lubricated ball bearings.
