The ideal kitchen utensil for draining liquids from foods, this economical 8 quart colander can strain a fairly large amount of food items. The perforations on the colander, also called a strainer, allow liquids like water and oil to drain through while retaining solid contents inside the bowl. Its 18/0 stainless steel construction allows this durable strainer to endure heavy and frequent use. On the sides of the perforated bowl, two 0.4 millimeter tubular handles are available for cooks to quickly and safely move the colander around the kitchen from countertops to sinks. The handles can also be used to hang the colander from a pot rack for convenient storage and easy retrieval.
