Features a paint-free, corrosion-resistant body, permanent molded from heat treated aluminum alloy. Single adjustable leg support. Patented air/water seal and secondary Teflon lip water seal protect the motor from damage by water. Shock absorbing tapered roller bearing on top and sealed ball bearing on bottom provide longer motor life and quiet operation. Water cooled motor provides maximum efficiency and longer life. Extra thick rubber mounting adaptor above grind chamber and rubber drain outlet isolate sound and eliminate vibration for quiet operation - no metal to metal contact. Extra large waste mixing chamber ensures proper mixture of water to waste. 8" diameter rotor with 4 cutter bars and 8" diameter shredder both made of machined high strength, wear resistant hardened carbide alloy. 2 HP totally enclosed motor is fan and water cooled for efficiency and longer life and features built-in manual reset thermal overload protection. Rubber drain waste outlet accepts 2" piping (or 3" piping by removing drain insert). Requires 5 gallons of cold water per minute.
