The round hardwood handle of the masher provides a comfortable grip and the long handle length is ideal for deep commercial pots. The nickel plated wire circular mashing base is 4-1/2" in diameter and can mash right up against the sides of a round pot where a square masher can't reach. Great for mashing beans, potatoes, squash and other root vegetables.
