Taylor's Bio-Therm® pocket thermometer has a 1" dial with 5" slim stem. This thermometer is constructed of a stainless steel stem and unbreakable polycarbonate crystal lens. The thermometer has a Safe-T-Set™ recalibration feature and super shock protection. For effective and accurate measurement, the stem should be inserted into the meat or soups, etc. a full two inches, up to the dimple in the stem of the thermometer. There is a one point calibration +/- 2° accuracy at dial midpoint, +/- 4° accuracy at range extremes. Temperature range is 0° to 220°F with a degree division of 2°. The blue plastic storage sleeve has a built-in recalibration wrench. The sleeve can act as a holder for the thermometer while you're testing the temperature of your food.
