Flake ice is the perfect type for blended cocktails, salad bars, produce, seafood and meat displays, and therapeutic uses in healthcare facilities. Scotsman Prodigy® Flake Ice Machines offer the level of performance you demand in your operation. These flake ice machines are highly efficient, using up to 50% less water and 17% less energy than cube ice machines.

The Scotsman Ice Machine's AutoAlert™ indicator lights constantly communicate about operating status and actually signal your staff when it's time to descale, sanitize and more - making upkeep practically foolproof. Scotsman's conductivity water sensor eliminates low- or no-water failures and will not be affected by mineral buildup or manufacturing variations. Rust-free plastic drain pan keeps water away from vital parts, and a larger single drain line prevents blockage and vapor locks. This ice machine uses R-404A refrigerant.

Preventative maintenance is simpler than ever with easily-removed panels allowing clear access to internal components and a diagnostic code display insuring the right fix the first time. Its reusable air filter is easily removable from the outside. To extend service life, the exterior is made of durable stainless steel, and the heavy-duty interior components include massive self-aligning spherical roller bearings, a double-flight auger to evenly distribute the load, and a heavy-duty direct drive gearbox.
