Cross-contamination is the leading hazard in the food service industry today and more often than not, this is ignored when handling ice. To help prevent this, San Jamar has designed the Saf-T-Scoop. It eliminates hand contact with ice or other foods, reducing the risk of cross-contamination.

The Guardian holder's unique design not only enhances beverage stations and bars, but it also isolates the ice scoop from the ice and other foods. The holder's secure brackets accommodate a wide variety of bin-lip dimensions for easy installation. It may be installed either inside or outside to save space.
