Horizontal back slats are curved to hug the body. Features a 1.5" thick high-density cushion foam seat for added comfort, finished in black vinyl. 100% solid beech hardwood construction and durable wood finish make the Carole line extremely sturdy as well as attractive. Joints: Mortise and tenon. Glued with high solids glue and reinforced with 18 gauge nails, corner blocks and low root woodscrews. Nine Step Finishing Process.
