Centaur's Compact Manual Slicer has a powerful 1/3 HP motor to meet your commercial needs. Constructed of heavy-gauge anodized aluminum, this slicer is stain resistant, long lasting and easy to clean. The hollow ground knife is hard chromed with a hollow ground, nominal 10" dia. blade that lasts longer and sharpens easier. The knife is driven by a positive grooved belt that works well in light duty applications. Its knife cover is designed to fit on the slicer only one way to ensure accurate placement - every time!

The knife hub bearings, belt and motor are fully enclosed, protecting them from food and other debris. Other slicer components are on the underside, covered by a metal plate that protects them from debris. The manual slicer's motor is fan-cooled with permanently lubricated ball bearings to ensure quiet operation. Food can be sliced from 0 to 9/16" thick. The top mounted sharpener is made of metal and has two stones for a dual action design. This allows you to quickly return to a razor sharp edge of your knife.
