Don't get bogged down with tough loads. Heavy-duty Univex PrepMate™ Power Drive unit is designed to power the VS9 Vegetable Slicer, VS9H Shredder/Grater, and ALMFC12 Meat Grinder through thick and thin. Driven by a 1 HP motor with a 1" wide Pol-V belt system, the Prep-Mate is a tough but quiet kitchen performer. A 5" deep plastic prep container with cover comes standard with this unit. The prepmate is completely enclosed in an acrylic urethane silver enamel finished 10-gauge steel housing and No. 4 finish 20-gauge stainless steel cover. The on/off switch for the power drive unit is a rocker-type, double pole style conveniently located for access from the front or left side. Has a removable operator key to prevent unauthorized operation.
A vegetable slicer for cutting, a VS9H for shredding, and/or a meat & food chopper attachment can be used on this maximum price/value for years of trouble free performance.
