This front of house countertop range works with induction kitchenware!

The portable countertop induction range is designed for use in light duty front-of-the-house cooking. The top case frame is made from heavy-duty, 18-gauge stainless steel with a ceramic top. The ceramic top is easily cleaned with a mild cleaner. The bottom case assembly is durable molded plastic.

Induction ranges rely on an internal component called an IGBT switch to control power levels. The Mirage® G1 engine uses a single IGBT switch to power the entire unit. This is 75% more efficient compared to the approximate 50% efficiency of gas ranges. The pushbutton control has a digital readout. The range works in power leverls from 1-20 or °F/°C temperature level controls.

The range is constructed of a stainless case top and molded plastic bottom. The ceramic top is 100% framed for durability. The bright LED digital readout is easy to see. The temperature memory powers up to the last used temperature setting. The range is 100% factory bench tested for ultimate quality control.

The induction ranges are equipped with a variety of safety features including:

• "Hot" warning display
• Over-heat protection
• Small-article detection
• Pan auto-detection function
• Empty-pan shut-off
• Safety auto-shut-off function

All models require adequate unrestricted intake and exhaust air ventilation for proper operation of the controls. The maximum intake temperature must not exceed 110°F. Temperatures are measured in ambient air while all appliances in the kitchen are in operation.
