Vulcan's MSA Series griddles offer a gas safety system, embedded snap-action controls and a manual ignition system. The all-mechanical control system makes this griddle an excellent choice for a restaurant that does not have electrical power on the line or has concerns about GFI circuit and the use of automatic spark ignition for their appliances. The MSA all mechanical system is more reliable in high heat and high moisture kitchen environments. Its temperature control is +/- 10°F at the location of the probe, and can adjust from 200° to 550°F.

This MSA60 Griddle has a U-shaped aluminized steel atmospheric burner in each 12" section. Innovative "green" design eliminates "mercury containing" flame switch with supervised pilot design. There is one pilot safety valve for every two burners, safety will completely shut off gas to pilot and burners if pilot extinguishes. With no electrical components, this MSA60 griddle is perfect for new construction with ground fault interrupt (GFI) circuits. The front, sides, and 4" front top ledge is constructed of stainless steel. The body frame is constructed of fully-welded stainless and aluminized steel, while the 1" thick polished steel griddle plate is welded to a 4" stainless steel back and tapered side splashes. This MSA60 griddle has a 11" low profile cooking height on 4" adjustable legs.
