This R40 light bulb from Havell's works on a heat lamp for keeping food warm. The lightbulb is ideal for foodservice, processing areas, healthcare, agricultural and industrial applications. This light bulb can last up to 6,000 hours!
The lightbulb is made of hardened Pyrex® glass, designed not to shatter if contacted by liquids. The bulb is coated from end to end with a tough, clear shatterproof coating. All glass, phosphor and mercury are safely contained within the coating in case of breakage. Coating will not yellow, crack or flake. The brass base minimizes corrosion and "freezing" in the socket. This lightbulb should be burned in a heat lamp in the vertical position.
