Use daily for sparkling clean kettles! Gold Medal's Heat 'N Kleen™ is the easiest and safest kettle cleaner around! Simply dissolve a few spoonfuls in your kettle with water. The easy kettle cleaner is designed to remove grease and carbon easily by the heat and soak process. Its outstanding detergency emulsifies grease and oil, and softens hard carbon deposits. Heat 'N Kleen is listed by the USDA for use in food plants under their inspection. It is safe on aluminum, stainless steel, iron, chrome, brass, etc.
For daily use, make up a solution of 2 oz. Heat 'N Kleen to a gallon of water. Stir to dissolve, and pour to desired depth in popper kettle. Turn on kettle heat, and watch for when it starts to boil (160°). When it reaches a boil, turn off heat and cool for 30 minutes. Then carefully dump the water out. Remove the kettle, wipe it clean and rinse. If the kettle is very dirty, you may need to repeat more than once. In these cases, allow Heat 'N Kleen solution to sit in kettle for 6-8 hours.
