The Rubbermaid Scovel™ is an ice shovel and scoop in one!
Developed to help with one of the most common issues within the commercial kitchen, Rubbermaid's Safe Ice Handling System addresses the transfer of ice between an ice machine and holders throughout the kitchen. The system promotes the safe handling of ice to reduce the risk of cross contamination.
Part of Rubbermaid's Safe Ice Handling System, the Scovel™ (shovel and scoop in one!) has a 120 oz. capacity for faster loading times and a reinforced leading edge for improved durability. With high sides, this scoop will keep ice contained in the ice shovel's cavity - reducing spillage and improving employee safety. The scovel's rear handle provides leverage when lifting, while the forward handle creates a pivot point for control and accuracy. A shield protects hands from contacting with the ice, reducing the risk of cross contamination. This large capacity ice shovel is made of dedicated "Ice Only" tinted blue polycarbonate plastic for easy identification. Commercial dishwasher safe.
